Vertical Leapland

Some of you may have missed my posts due to Hurricane Irma, but I recently had a story published in Carbon Culture Review, an interesting little publication that operates in that realm between technology and literature.

My story “Vertical Leapland” was inspired by my brother’s time as a manager for Velocity Air Sports. If you aren’t familiar, Velocity is a trampoline-centered place for fun where both children and adults pay for hours of jumping time. When my brother was the manager there, he would take me into the office and show me surveillance video of kids snapping their shins. It was grody.

Anywhere, you can read the story here, which starts with broken bones, and finds its way through drug-dealing and masturbation. Hope you enjoy.
